Heists are Shadowrealm's biggest cooperative scores: four-player crew jobs that require assembling a team, filling four distinct roles with the right stolen conveyance for each, and weighing the risk of a shared jail sentence against a payout no solo action can match. Crew quality, built from the conveyances each crew member brings, drives everything: success chance, gold, and the odds of walking away with rare gear on top of the coin.
Lie in wait on the king's road and take a merchant caravan whole.
Requires Rank 3 and a full 4-player crew. Success chance runs from 35% at crew quality 0 up to 90% at crew quality 1. A successful run pays 36,000 gold to 99,000 gold and 2,400 to 6,600 XP depending on that same crew quality, split across the crew, with a 20%-55% chance of a bonus gear or material drop. Getting caught means a 20-minute jail sentence.
Drop rarity odds scale with crew quality: at crew quality 0.3: common 70%, rare 25%, epic 5%, legendary 0%, mythic 0%; at crew quality 0.8: common 35%, rare 42%, epic 20%, legendary 3%, mythic 0%.
Every conveyance a crew member commits to this job is normally consumed, win or lose. The one exception is a successful run: each committed vehicle then gets an independent salvage chance back to its owner, from 5% for the priciest vehicles up to 50% for the cheapest, inverse to what the vehicle is worth. A failed heist always consumes every committed vehicle, no salvage roll at all, so the conveyance itself is a real, significant cost on top of the jail risk.
