Every update to the realm, chronicled release by release. New versions are also announced in our Discord.
v5.18.0: Contact Page & Fixes
New Features
Contact: a new public Contact page lists every way to reach us, including email and Discord, and it works whether or not you are logged in. The "Support contact form" link on the Rules page now leads there instead of bouncing you back to the homepage.
About: the About page now explains how a session actually plays, what makes the realm different, what it costs, and who builds it.
Bug Fixes
Ascension: when someone in the realm ascends, the announcement button now opens that player's profile. Only the player who ascended is taken to their own Ascendancy tree.
v5.17.0: Clearer Odds & Faster Lore Drops
New Features
Library: lore book drops now speed up with your drop-rate buffs. Fortune's Favor, seasonal events, city-control perks and the ascension drop node all count, not just your stronghold.
Gem Shop: buying an XP or energy booster while the Newcomer's Blessing is running now warns you first. The blessing already outranks them, so the purchase only extends the timer instead of adding to it.
Bug Fixes
Missions: freeing Brannoc or Iskra showed a 0% chance for the first fifty attempts, because it really was zero. It now starts at 0.1% and rises after every failed attempt.
Bust Party: your odds do climb with every failed attempt, but the badge could not show it and sat still for a dozen tries. It now moves within one or two failures, and says so before your first attempt.
Black Lotus Den: for a moment after your maximum energy changed, the Den under-reported how much overflow you could hold and refused energy you had room for.
Newcomer's Blessing: ascending dropped your rank far enough to collect the newcomer bonus, which is meant for genuinely new players. It now keys off the highest rank you have ever reached.
v5.16.0: Lore Books & The Library
New Features
Library: thirteen hand-written lore books now drop from actions, city bosses and heists, each with its own cover and reader. The Library names the city each missing book is in, and all twelve unlock the Complete History.
Achievements: achievements can now pay shadowgems as well as gold, shown on the popup, your profile, wallet and gem history. The complete history pays 1,000,000 gold, 500 shadowgems and the Ledgerkeeper title.
City Boss: a single hit now earns a loot roll on a ramp instead of a shutout below three hits, and the boss page lists what it can drop.
Your Day: the menu now badges how much is still unclaimed on your daily checklist.
Bank: depositing now warns you that it restarts the 23 hour maturity timer on your whole vault, and the interest wording matches what is paid.
Bug Fixes
Energy: a refill from a quest, ad reward or VIP day paid nothing when your bar was at or above your maximum, and used the reward up anyway. It now always pays in full, into overflow.
Top Bar: the countdown to your next energy point was missing on around thirty pages. It runs everywhere now.
Blood Shrine: a Blood Offering no longer charges HP when a stronger buff already blocks the grant.
Talent Respec: paying gems from inside another window, respec included, no longer opens the confirmation behind it and leaves you a dimmed screen with no buttons.
Stables: the conveyance buttons no longer spill outside their card.
Jail: the name of the player who upgrades a riot now keeps its proper casing.
VIP: the season page no longer hangs when the server clock steps backwards.
Stability: fewer random errors under load, the database now keeps a warm floor of connections open.
v5.15.0: Profile Actions & Onboarding Recap
New Features
Onboarding: the flurry of popups a new player used to get is now one recap after the tutorial, listing every achievement and quest reward earned along the way, all granted automatically.
Profile: every action on another player's profile now sits in one Actions menu, with Send Gems added alongside Send Mail, a distinct icon and colour per action, and a confirmation before adding a friend, sending a guild invite, or blocking.
Tutorial: the "Commit your first action" step now carries a button that takes you straight to the Actions page.
Bug Fixes
Warcamp: the Warbanner now boosts the Drill Yard's XP bonus, which its description always promised. At a level 11 Drill Yard with a level 8 banner, that is 5.5% up to 6.8%.
Profile: a banned player's profile no longer offers a working Send Mail button and shows the Banned badge instead, and the actions menu no longer appears on your own profile where none of it could be used.
v5.14.0: The Newcomer's Blessing
New Features
Newcomer's Blessing: your first three days now carry triple experience, triple energy and triple energy regeneration, with your reserves filled to match. Anyone still finding their feet gets it the next time they enter the realm.
City Boss: you now deal five times more damage to a city boss, so a raid is winnable by the people who actually turn up, and names on the damage leaderboard link through to their profiles.
Names: every player name now reads the same wherever it appears, in caps with full-height numbers, from chat and guild lists to leaderboards, trades and notifications. Fields where you type a name preview that same style as you type.
Forum: you can now edit your own posts, and an edited post shows when it was changed.
Bug Fixes
Ascension: the talent tree no longer smears or tears while you scroll it on some Android tablets.
Reliquary: the quantity controls no longer offer more than you can afford, and the input no longer vanishes when the total goes past your gold.
Popups: a quest or achievement popup no longer flickers on and off when two of them arrive at once.
Trade History: a long name in your buy and sell history is no longer cut off halfway.
v5.13.0: Spend All Energy Progress
New Features
Spend All Energy: the button now counts your attempts as they happen, so a long run visibly works through your energy instead of sitting on a frozen label.
Bug Fixes
Connection: a request that stalls is now tried once more automatically, so a brief hiccup on your connection no longer ends in a timeout message.
Spend All Energy: a very long run now pauses and shows you everything it earned, instead of failing at the end and telling you nothing.
v5.12.1: Stability & Fixes
Bug Fixes
Performance: the game makes far fewer background requests while you play, so pages are less likely to stall or time out.
v5.12.0: Blood Shrine Confirmations
New Features
Blood Shrine: every ritual now says what it activated, what it cost, and how long it lasts.
Bug Fixes
Performance: the nav badges no longer all refresh at once, which was making requests time out.
v5.11.0: Title Sigils & Smoother Updates
New Features
Titles: every title has its own sigil, on your profile and in both shops.
Updates: a new build no longer breaks a tab you already had open.
Actions: cards print the practice bonus, and every success chance explains itself.
Talents: staged points show on each stat, and all eight say what a point buys.
Tutorial: the docked guide has its own gutter, and its end steps behave.
Jail: caveats behind a ?, roomier controls, and a card for crafting.
Lottery: the line under the jackpot states the figures that add up to it.
City Boss: ranks that cannot travel are exempt from the sacked-city penalty.
Gems: running short in Jail says so instead of dropping you in the shop.
Links: in-prose links are visible without hovering, so on a phone at all.
Notices: info notes no longer look like buttons, and they link to the remedy.
Sign-up: the character counter reads used of total, plus clearer verify copy.
Quests: the daily and weekly split is named wherever a total is quoted.
Bug Fixes
Popups: a tall popup can no longer push its heading off the screen.
Rank Up: the celebration no longer left the gear crate unbuyable.
VIP: the daily track matches your own membership window.
Performance: a page load no longer ties up a third of the database pool.
Gems: one failed price load no longer breaks every price for the session.
Bank: the interest history no longer repeats the principal each row.
Combat: one low-HP notice per page, at a meaningful threshold.
Top Bar: the regen countdown reads as a wait, not a rate.
Casino: large ledger figures no longer wrap to a second line.
Fight Replay: Skip is reachable on a phone, and names fit on one line.
Navigation: an unknown /app address stays inside the app.
v5.10.0: First Buy Bonus & Charm Control
New Features
Gem Shop: your first gem pack now pays 50 percent extra shadowgems, shown on every pack before you buy.
Jail: a new toggle stops your Resurrection Charm being spent on Most Wanted and mission-target busts, you are warned before any bust that would spend it and can switch it off right there, a failed bust party no longer resets your bust streak, and the page spells out exactly what does and does not break it.
Spend Tiers: VIP Pass, Starter Pack and Ad-Free Pass purchases now count towards your lifetime spend rewards, so a tier you already earned may be waiting to claim.
Your Day: a new checkbox tracks damage dealt to the invading city boss, with a link straight to the fight.
City Boss: every boss now has half the health, so it falls in roughly half the hits.
Gem History: the reason behind a gem grant now shows in full instead of being cut short.
Bug Fixes
Combat: a fight that goes the full 20 rounds now names the real reason it was decided, damage dealt, instead of describing health remaining.
v5.9.0: City Boss & Bank Overhaul
New Features
Bank: interest now matures 23 hours after each deposit and pays a full day at once, so a vault you never touch stops earning.
Regeneration: energy, HP and mana refill as a percentage of your maximum, so bigger pools fill faster instead of crawling.
City Boss: scaled to the players who can actually reach it, rewards tripled, and it respawns 6 hours after the last one falls.
VIP: seasons run a full calendar month with the capstone on the last day, every day from 29 to 31 is claimable, and daily buffs stack in time.
Purchases: buying a VIP pass, starter pack or ad-free pass now sends you a receipt in the mail.
The Fence: its own expansion slots and gem pack, and the listing cap rises from 50 to 200.
Quests: a finished daily quest, weekly challenge or mission now tells you the moment it lands.
Combat: Arena, PVP and duel timeouts are decided by damage dealt, and the wounded notice links straight to potions and the Blood Shrine.
Who's Online: status updates instantly, the online window is longer, and prestige badges show on the cards.
Mail: player names in in-game mail are clickable, and city boss reward mail colours the experience.
Results: lottery tickets, caravan runs and blacksmith repairs show their result in a popup, with the amounts coloured.
Actions: you now see the odds the server will actually roll, your Stronghold Library terms included, and the sort order follows them.
Security: logging out now ends your session on every device, and guest accounts get a popup, with a link to Settings, on anything that sends or trades.
Gear: every rarity and slot has its own flavour name, and weapon titles drop the 1 Handed and 2 Handed prefix.
Achievements: your first rewards are granted as you earn them, and the gold reaches your top bar with the popup.
Heists: share split presets are now 0, 1, 25 and 33 percent.
Audio: the music pauses when the tab or app is not in front.
Interface: the Thieves' Code record restyled, total glory added to your stats, a hidden-items eye toggle in the inventory, and two decimals on compact gold figures.
Bug Fixes
Jail: a failed bust on a mission target no longer resets your bust streak, and a jailed player can no longer buy in at a poker table.
Lottery: the jackpot now banks every coin actually spent on tickets.
Heists: the success chance you are shown is the one that was rolled.
Casino: multi-ball Plinko settles against your total stake, and blackjack no longer pays out more than it should.
Mail: opening your inbox no longer marks messages read before you have read them.
Payments: a duplicate pass payment is recorded instead of lost, an unpaid checkout is never fulfilled, and the starter pack is once per character.
Missions: the stronghold chain catches up when you already met its target, so Widow's Crown and Raise the Hold stop stalling.
Arena: two fights on the same pair no longer deadlock, you are asked to try again.
PVP: a fight you committed to can no longer be lost to a failed quest or mission credit.
Guilds: the warcamp splits its pool by the same divisor it pays out with.
Titles: Gaolstorm asks for all four Most Wanted, not three.
Marketplace and forum: a real ceiling on a single order, a steadier gem value guide, and a thread is no longer marked read by a page view.
Rewards: a referral payout can no longer come back as a rejection, and a vote claim is checked before we call out for it.
Tablets: the Ascension tree no longer renders as a band of noise on some Android tablets.
Mobile: a pass over phone portrait layouts across the top bar, jail, guilds, PVP and stats, so nothing truncates or scrolls sideways.
Top bar: shows your real regeneration rate, and its countdown no longer freezes.
v5.8.2: Clearer Sign-Up Emails
Bug Fixes
Sign-up: if we cannot deliver your verification email because the address was refused, we now tell you to check it for a typo instead of telling you to wait for a message that will never arrive. A genuine delay still says so.
Email: our verification, password reset and invite emails now carry a proper plain-text version, so they are less likely to be treated as spam by your mail provider.
v5.8.1: Reliable Sign-Up Emails
Bug Fixes
Sign-up: verification and password reset emails now reach you reliably. A message our mail provider refused was being resubmitted dozens of times, which damaged our sending reputation and left later emails blocked or stuck in spam. A refused message is now recorded once and dropped, and genuine delivery hiccups still retry as before.
v5.8.0: True Bust Odds & Fewer Timeouts
New Features
Jail: the Progression window now shows your real bust chance for every city, so you can see how much tougher Shadowmere, Duskholm and the Dark Citadel are before you travel. The old single number only ever described a bust against a jailed player.
City Boss: the damage leaderboard now shows how many hits each slayer landed alongside their damage.
Bug Fixes
Connection: fixed the timeouts that made actions fail with "The request timed out" or "Could not reach the server", most often during a busy Jail Riot.
Jail: the Currently Imprisoned count now matches the list in front of you instead of counting every city at once, and the Break out buttons line up down the list.
Loading: opening a page after an update no longer takes the whole game down with an error screen, it now recovers quietly on its own.
Error screen: the title and message no longer get cut off on a small phone.
Two-Factor: on phones the Back button now sits below the backup code link instead of crowding it.
v5.7.0: Jail Ceiling Lifted & Stability
New Features
Jail: busting a normal outlaw is no longer capped at 95%, so a well equipped rescuer can now reach a true 100% in any city, and escalating a riot finally moves the number instead of stalling. Elite Most Wanted targets still top out at 95%.
Release Notes: the page is now public and readable without logging in, and it is linked in the footer next to the Roadmap.
Wiki: every page now links onward to the rest of the wiki, so you can browse from one topic to the next instead of returning to the index.
Recruit a Friend: only your most recent invite is listed now, with a show more toggle for the rest, so the panel is no longer a wall of addresses.
Bug Fixes
Loading: after an update, opening a page or the chat could fail with "Something broke in the dark" and take the whole app down with it, chat included. The game now retries and recovers on its own.
Jail: the riot boost explainer claimed the 95% ceiling only applied to elite targets, which was wrong, and bust streak numbers now read 71,033 rather than 71033.
Profile: logging in no longer draws a stray gold border around your whole profile page.
Menu: the City Boss, Gold Gamble and Auction descriptions no longer get cut off mid word.
Inventory: the scrollbar no longer sits on top of the power numbers in the Equip Best popup, and the best gear badge shares the tab row when it fits.
Suggestions: the menu badge now clears the moment you read the page instead of lingering.
v5.6.0: Real HP Combat & Scaling Potions
New Features
Combat: PVP, Arena and Duels are now fought with the real HP on your bar instead of a scaled-down stand-in, so the numbers in the battle popup are the ones you actually have. Fighting wounded genuinely weakens you, you need at least a quarter of your health to start a fight, and the quoted win chance reflects your condition and tells you when healing would improve your odds.
Potions: restore potions now heal a share of your maximum HP or mana instead of a flat amount, so they keep pace as your pools grow, and they never restore less than they used to. Quick heals report exactly what they restored, the shop sells any quantity from one to five, and prices have risen to match: restore potions cost ten times more, stat elixirs five times more.
City Boss: a boss still standing when its window closes now pays everyone who fought it, at a reduced rate, and the reward mail says which outcome you were paid for.
Arena and PVP: target cards now lead with Power on its own line, and the weekly Glory table lines up with the arena tiers so every tier appears exactly once, highest first, Ascendant included.
Mail: system mail now colours gold, shadowgems and item names by their rarity, and the message you open stays in view while you scroll a long inbox.
Blood Shrine: tapping a structure scrolls its ritual card into view so you can see what to do next.
Menu: new badges for a Blood Shrine that is ready, a City Boss attacking a city, and open suggestions.
Guild invitations: the inviter is clickable, the whole card opens the guild overview with that guild highlighted, and the panel is as wide as the rest of the site.
Site: the public pages link to each other properly, the front page carries a fuller guide to the realm, and an unknown address returns a real "not found" rather than a blank page.
Bug Fixes
Jail: rescuing a prisoner failed outright once you passed 12 million jailbreak XP, the menu badge counted you as a bustable prisoner, the city filter hid player prisoners the badge was counting, and Sort by now opens without hiding the top bar or throwing you back to the top of the page.
Performance: the Jail page picks up prisoners promptly again instead of stalling, the menu badges no longer download whole lists every minute, and a misconfigured error reporter stopped flooding every session with failed requests.
Bank: entering an amount in your own number format blocked deposits, withdrawals and sends, and could silently drop a zero.
Heists: Recent Heists no longer closes itself a few seconds after you open it from View results.
City Boss: loot history listed fights whose loot had not been paid out yet, and a payout that fails is now retried instead of quietly lost.
Arena: a win chance built from a sample no longer quotes a flat 100%.
Wiki: 23 factual errors corrected, several of which stated the opposite of what the game does. The pages now take their numbers from the game itself, so they cannot drift out of date again.
Suggestions: the menu badge counts work in progress again, and brand new suggestions nobody has sorted yet.
Mobile: the shrine selection outline, the charm note placement and the spacing above Realm Activity are all corrected in portrait.
v5.5.0: City Boss, Warcamp & Arena Glory
New Features
City Boss: a daily boss now besieges one of the four cities in a full battle scene with its own skyline, on a 24 hour countdown. Fight it for materials, gear and shadowgems from dedicated drop tables, keep a loot history, collect a reward mail, and see a realm-wide announcement when it falls. Leave it standing and your city is sacked.
Warcamp: guilds can raise a treasury-funded war camp, built as a camp scene with a palisade, watchtowers and a campfire, up to level 20. Its buildings feed a shared pool that ticks live, pays every member a wage scaled by guild size, and flags the moment there's something to claim.
Blood Shrine: a new shrine where you trade blood and mana for dark blessings, with two-way Shadow Mending, a cooldown per conversion, and a confirmation before you spend.
Arena: Glory is a new currency, paid weekly by rating and again at season close, with a stipend table, a countdown and a mail when it lands. Spend it in the new Arena Shop on enchantments across all five tiers, heist vouchers and conveyances. Brackets now run to 6000.
Enchantments: enchantments are inventory items you apply from an Enchant button on each piece of gear, and the Blacksmith has a Disenchant tab that strips one back off for gold.
Missions: The Widow's Crown, a second story chain following the Ashen Oath, with its own actions, the Warden's List hunt, and the mission-only Widow's Focus you forge along the way.
Jail: bust difficulty now varies by city and is travel-gated, every city holds four targets, and Duskholm has its own Most Wanted elite. Three more jailbreak ranks take the rescue bonus to +50%, Most Wanted pays triple with an all-three challenge, and the cards gained a city filter, a danger explainer and quick travel.
Travel: travelling now carries a 15 minute cooldown, which you can skip by burning a conveyance or paying a toll.
Wiki: a public reference wiki of 29 pages generated from the game catalogs, each with icons, colour-coded terms, a back link and prev/next navigation.
Your Day: a real Daily Checklist that detects what you have already done, achievements grouped one per category with descriptions, and 5 shadowgems for telling us how you found the game.
Bank: the last 10 days of earned interest, each row showing the principal it paid on and the rate, in a collapsible history.
Heists: The Sable Convoy, a mid-tier heist for Reaver and up.
Achievements: a reworked ladder, a unique icon for every badge, and an unlock popup whose Claim button takes you to the exact badge.
Combat: player, Arena and Duel screens now show your real simulated win chance instead of a rough estimate.
Thieves' Code: a public record of who broke the code and why, paginated, alongside the rules themselves.
Rewards: a new rewarded video option since the previous network was not suitable, and the shadowgem survey bands now show their live range.
Who's Online: daily, weekly and monthly active player counts.
Gem Shop: links can drop you straight into a catalog category, and the daily gems card no longer contradicts itself when you hold VIP.
Guild Raids: the treasury share moved from 40% to 30%.
Account: registration and guest upgrade now take an 18+ declaration, and banned players are marked on their profile and dropped from every leaderboard.
Performance: first load pulls 741 KB less, and several screens stopped re-fetching on every render.
Bug Fixes
Navigation: pages land at the top again when you move between them, instead of holding the previous page position.
Mobile: the Thieves' Code table, inventory tabs, Your Day's achievement counter, the Duels history filter and the VIP claim button all fit portrait screens now, and no page scrolls sideways.
Marketplace: selling a mythic material autofilled 45% of its real price.
Forge: the reroll preview had lost its HP, Mana and Energy rows.
Missions: a reworked chapter could complete itself and pay out for work never done, and a mission asking for a staff no longer pictures a blade.
Economy: closed a Warcamp payout drain from kicking members before closing the camp, a free option on wagered duels, and two Arena Shop pricing faults.
Materials: Trade Laterally can target materials you do not already own.
Mail: "delete all read" now means all read rather than the page you are on, and you no longer land past the end of the list.
Poker: blinds got their thousands separators back.
Sign in: the Google button and forgot-password link no longer cramp on narrow screens.
Achievements: two icons rendered as literal text instead of icons.
Dialogs: modals open at the top again rather than scrolled to the bottom.
Top Bar: the browser tab title no longer sticks on a page you have left.
Wiki: 21 factual errors corrected against the code, including the Guild Raid treasury share the Actions page quoted.
Heists: a recent-run deep link highlighted its row forever.
Rewards: the READY badges drift smoothly, sit higher and read smaller.
Errors: a failed request no longer shows you the browser's own raw wording.
v5.4.0: Your Day, Vault Rework & Achievement Popups
New Features
Your Day: a new page gathering everything you can claim today in one place, with the login streak alongside it.
Achievements: an unlock now opens a popup you can claim the reward from, instead of a toast that vanished before you read it, and it waits for whatever else is on screen rather than covering it.
Arena: climbing into a new arena tier is celebrated with its own popup.
Vault: interest is now counted by the hour and settles at midnight for everyone. Your interest is paid and your balance returns to your purse, so deposit and withdraw freely with no personal timer to remember.
Church: prayers reset at midnight instead of 24 hours after you last prayed, so the window stops drifting later every day.
Stronghold: your Forge now discounts repair costs at the Blacksmith.
Actions: a new character can no longer be jailed during their first five actions.
Suggestions: you now get an in-game mail when someone replies to your suggestion or its status changes, telling you which section to find it in.
Statistics: the casino breakdown lists every venue in every city, zeroes included, in the same order as the Tavern.
Guests: a letter from Mortek now arrives as you start playing, explaining how to secure your account before a cleared browser takes it.
VIP: claiming a day whose energy would overflow your bar warns you first, so none of it is wasted.
Titles: an equipped earned title now reads in near-white so it stands apart.
Performance: music, chat panes and admin code are no longer downloaded by every visitor, so the game loads lighter.
Accessibility: every dialog now traps focus and closes on Escape, page changes are announced, and low-contrast captions were raised.
Bug Fixes
Loot: luck was making your drops WORSE, and past a point rare and better were unreachable no matter how high it went. Rarity is now rolled rarest first.
Casino: an Ascension bonus could mint gold on every spin, 12-row Plinko paid less than the board displayed, and two cities showed the wrong floor cap.
Vote: claiming a vote reward could pay out several times over.
Poker: the deck is now shuffled with a cryptographic random source.
Account safety: changing or resetting your password now disconnects other sessions at once, and login attempts are bounded per address.
Crafting and Missions: a failed craft could hand you a stats-less item, and a mission delivery could consume gear you had listed for trade.
Mail: the X on the mail toast did nothing, an opened mail still looked unread, the unread count went stale, and the mail icon did nothing while you were already in your mailbox.
Inventory: your gear was called optimal while a better rank-locked piece sat in your bag.
Mobile: the ascension tree and card glows rendered as corrupted noise on some tablets, a landscape popup could put its buttons off-screen, and tapping a field no longer zooms the page on iOS.
Gambling: a wager is now judged on your gold plus your bank, matching what you can actually pay.
Gem offers: an expired offer blocked the next one from ever starting.
v5.3.0: Announcement Links
New Features
Announcements: the banner at the top of the page can now carry a link, so an announcement can send you straight to the page it is talking about.
Bug Fixes
Stability: some safety limits were counting many players as one, which could slow you down because of everyone else. Each player is now counted on their own.
v5.2.2: Honest Survey Timings
Bug Fixes
Shadowgem Surveys: a survey card now says the time is our partner's estimate rather than stating it as fact, since theirs can be optimistic, and the gems-per-minute figure no longer overstates a survey they claim takes barely a minute.
v5.2.1: Shadowgem Survey Fixes
Bug Fixes
Shadowgem Surveys: the section was coming back empty for everyone, so there was never anything to do there. It now shows the surveys our partner actually has waiting for you.
v5.2.0: Shadowgem Surveys
New Features
Shadowgem Surveys: a new section on the Rewards page. Answer a survey from our partner and earn shadowgems, with the reward and the time it takes shown on the card before you start, plus a gems-per-minute figure so you can tell which is the better deal at a glance. The gems arrive on their own once the partner confirms your answers, and a survey you do not fully qualify for still pays a smaller amount.
Rewards: the page now opens on the surveys, and a link under them takes you to our partner's full list when you want more than the few best on offer.
Bug Fixes
Rewards: the menu item no longer shows a Soon badge when there is something on the page to claim.
v5.1.0: Gentler Prices & Riot Busting
New Features
Prices: inflation now rises half as fast, so gold costs across the Black Market, potions, the forge, repairs and bail are far lower than they were. Gold rewards that scale with inflation, including jailbreak payouts, VIP daily gold, Arena season prizes and heist cuts, come down by the same amount.
Jail Riots: busting no longer has a cooldown between attempts while a riot is running, so a riot is the free-for-all it should be. The normal per-target cooldowns are unchanged.
VIP Pass: claiming a day or claiming everything now opens a popup listing exactly what you received, and the season bar no longer follows you down the page.
Gem Shop: converting shadowgems to gold is now capped at 500 gems per day, with your remaining allowance shown on the card.
Bug Fixes
Notifications: the per-type push toggles in Settings are now respected everywhere. Switching one off, such as Ascension ready, actually stops it.
Vote: a site now stays disabled for its full cooldown once you have voted instead of flipping back to Vote now while the confirmation is still on its way, and both tabs fit on a phone.
Travel: the travel popup now closes when travel is blocked, so you can see what stopped you, for example being in jail.
Poker Room: the tavern poker card no longer overlaps its Blinds and Table badges on a portrait phone.
Actions: the Commit and Commit all buttons now fit their labels on one line and sit level with each other.
Energy: the refill popup opens straight onto your energy options.
v5.0.0: Poker Casino & VIP Pass
New Features
Poker: a full Texas Hold'em room in every city's tavern, six-seat no-limit tables you buy into with gold, with side pots, hand history, table chat, and a showdown that highlights the winning five cards, plus chips on the felt, a turn chime and tab flash, keyboard shortcuts, pot-fraction quick bets, pre-armed actions and a hand-rankings reference.
Poker Bot: a house player sits down when you are alone at a table and leaves again when real company arrives, so you never have to wait for a game.
VIP Pass: a season pass with a free rail and a VIP rail, daily rewards you can Claim All in one tap, and tiered daily gems that spike on milestone days and pay a capstone on day 28.
Starter Pack: a one-time limited bundle for new players, gems plus 100,000 gold and gear, itemised on the card.
Google Sign-In: sign up or log in with your Google account, and accounts created that way can add a password later.
Two-Factor: opt-in authenticator app (TOTP) two-factor login, from Settings.
Guest Play: start playing in one tap with no account, then upgrade to a real account whenever you like and keep everything you earned.
Gem Shop: convert shadowgems straight to gold, buy time-limited booster bundles whose durations stack when you re-buy, and catch realm-wide gem-pack promos with bonus gems and a live countdown.
Suggestions: reply to other players' suggestions, edit or delete your own replies, and follow ideas through new Planned and In Progress sections.
Vote: the page now splits into daily votes and one-time reviews, each review paying 50 shadowgems once approved, with three new sites and mail when your claim goes through.
Titles: three gold and three shadowgem title tiers to buy, a silver pulsing Shadow Sovereign, and your owned titles grouped by how you earned them.
Economy: jailbreak, NPC, heist, lottery, caravan, jail-riot and arena-season payouts now scale with the realm economy instead of drifting behind it, and jailbreak tools cost far more to craft.
Combat: the battle replay is now one whole-fight summary table with colour-coded rounds, its own round-count card, and totals that count up as the fight resolves.
PVP: NPC opponents are built from your own character, the HP pool is sized so fights end in a kill instead of timing out, and you see a real simulated win chance before you commit plus your renown change beside the verdict.
Stronghold: skip a build at any point for gems priced by the time remaining, and preview costs for levels you have not unlocked yet.
Mail: system mail now tells you when an arena season ends, a lottery draws, an auction closes, or your market listing sells.
Tavern: an at-a-glance poker board showing each city's table, its blinds and how many players are seated, plus poker in the By-Game profit breakdown.
Referrals: recruiting a friend now pays 100,000 gold and grants you 50 shadowgems.
Jailbreak: your Stronghold Forge material discount now applies to crafting jailbreak tools as well.
Profile: your current Jailbreak rank now shows in the Criminal Record section.
Roadmap: sort by Most Liked, and collapse the period sections.
Jail: NPC bust attempts now share a brief global cooldown.
Performance: page badges are fetched in one request instead of fourteen, so the app feels lighter everywhere.
Bug Fixes

Energy: paid overflow energy is no longer destroyed by regeneration, potions or gem refills.
PVP: the HP bar no longer reads NaN after an NPC fight, and the arena daily cap uses one consistent day boundary.
Gems: the PVP Cooldown Reset now clears your NPC and Arena timers too, and its shop description matches what it does.
Missions: the PVP Cooldown Reset now unlocks the boss card, not just the fight.
Materials: displayed material amounts no longer ignore stock reserved by a queued build.
Gear: auto-equip no longer pairs an offhand with a two-handed weapon, and Equip Best stops proposing gear you cannot use, telling you when it has nothing to do.
Mobile: fixed horizontal overflow that hid the bottom nav, and stopped names and cost rows truncating in portrait on the Blacksmith, Jail, Stronghold and Guild screens.
Tutorial: the completion popup now fires the moment you claim your Hold, a stale Daily Quests step is gone, and a stuck Stronghold step heals itself.
Settings: the guest-upgrade panel stays put with a verification-sent confirmation, Back to form returns you to the form, and guests are no longer asked to verify a placeholder email.
Stronghold: the build gate now honours a queued Keep upgrade and checks queue requirements against your projected level.

v4.16.0: Gold Sink Overhaul
New Features
Blacksmith: a new Blacksmith in every city where you repair worn gear (fully, or with a partial-repair slider and a live condition preview) and buy tiered gear, with a most-damaged sort and a prompt to repair whenever equipped gear drops below half condition.
Gear Condition: equipped gear now wears down as you take HP damage and loses stats in steps (full above 50% condition, 10% less between 25 and 50%, 20% less below 25%), and must be fully repaired before you can list or trade it.
Gold Gamble: wager gold for a random reward, with x10 and x100 pulls, a results popup, rarity-odds pills, and a rare 1-in-15,000 mythic. Reward frequency favours materials over gear over jailbreak tools.
Burn-Bid Auction: a new weekly auction where players burn gold bidding on a legendary gear piece, with the prize's stats shown up front.
Guild Buffs: guilds can spend their treasury on guild-wide XP, gold and production buffs across tiers, with activation alerts and buff badges.
Guild Donations: the guild-wide donation cap has been removed, and the per-member daily cap now scales with inflation and resets on a fixed daily timer.
Title Shop: a new shop selling vanity titles for gold and for shadowgems (Gemsworn Regalia), colour-coded on your profile by how each was earned.
Gem Market: shadowgem buy orders now sit alongside sell orders, with an optional daily auto-reprice that keeps your order matched to the top bid, up to the live gem value.

Bank: a smoother diminishing interest curve with no cliff, and the gold transfer cap has been removed.
Gear: the repair prompt now shows the stats you are losing, and your power updates instantly after combat.
Gear Upgrades: upgrading high-level gear now costs more gold on a steeper curve, and the cost scales with inflation like other gold costs.

Bug Fixes
Combat: your HP bar now updates instantly and stays correct after PVP, Arena and Duel fights.
Blacksmith: the repair page lists only damaged gear, the condition bar matches the XP bar, the partial-repair amount matches exactly what is applied, and the repair list gained a gear-type filter.
Escrow: items locked in a pending trade are hidden from your inventory views, and the profile Trade button pre-fills the other player.
Chat: reply references are kept when chat history reloads.
World Map: same-side travel now lights only the direct road, not the hub route.
Maps: heavy map animations are disabled on touch devices to fix visual glitches on some tablets.
Friends: the nav presence dot and the Friends page online status now stay in sync, and removing a friend no longer briefly resurrects a different one.
Jail: the prisoner list sort and filter controls moved onto their own row and no longer overflow the header, the header buttons share a consistent height and wrap neatly, and the craft-tools link no longer flashes on load.
Guild: buff upgrades only allow moving to a higher tier, and disbanding a guild now shares its gem treasury among members.
UI: popups now dim the whole page, rank-up reward modals close only via their buttons, and titles, headings and page icons got a visual polish.
Suggestions: cards expand by default without the page jumping, and the background auto-refresh is working again.
Auction: the bid input is comma-formatted, Place Bid fits on one line on mobile, and a placed bid can no longer briefly look like it failed.
Bank: removed a stale casino vault deposit warning.
Performance: faster character loading and load-on-scroll for the unequipped gear grid.
Notifications: reward alerts that had silently stopped for many existing players now fire again, and the unified Rewards toggle correctly controls them.
Gold Gamble & Title Shop: a stale result card is cleared between pulls, the wager buttons disable when you cannot afford them, and a fast double-click can no longer repurchase a title.
Footer: the Guide and FAQ links now show only to logged-out visitors.
Mobile: fixed mobile-portrait layout wraps on the Succession Chronicle date and timer and the action HP tooltip, and the menu no longer jumps when opening Release Notes.
Security: closed several minor exploits and tightened server-side checks.

Bug Fixes
Tablet: the old-TV screen-noise that appeared over the Stronghold and Ascension tree pages is now cleared on touch devices.
Gear: the rarity glow on shop and gear cards is no longer clipped at the screen edges.
Achievements: Eternal Ascendant and Transcendent now show distinct icons instead of sharing the same one.

Every achievement now grants a claimable gold reward, with per-achievement Claim buttons, a Claim All button, and an earned toast in the achievement's colour.
Heists: hired hands are worth it now. The carriages you supply for them are always returned to you win or lose, they add to your success chance as the lowest rank, and the how-it-works guide reflects the new rules.
Cities: controlling any city now skims 0.25% of that city's casino bets into your guild treasury, the Dark Citadel adds a daily gem stipend on top, the guild Sieges tab is now called Cities, and the treasury breakdown shows the skim per city.
Guild: the gem and gold treasury activity logs now show 20 entries with a Show more button, up to 100.

Lottery: watching ad rewards can now take you past the 1,000-ticket cap. Normal ticket purchases are still capped.
Forge: the freshly-forged popup is cleaner, with Close and Equip buttons at the bottom.
Gems: buying a gem pack now sends you a thank-you mail with some flavour, and your top-bar mail badge lights up.
Register: the sign-up form now shows what your password must contain, below the confirm-password field.
Bank: on mobile the Deposit, Withdraw and Send buttons now sit below a wider amount input.
Bug Fixes
Jail: the riot-boost help icon is centred and sits beside its heading, and the Most Wanted failed-bust jail time was cut to 1.5 minutes.
Resources: after the ascension rebalance, pools no longer show more energy, HP or mana than your maximum. They settle back to your cap.
Profile: your owned casino bank balance now counts toward your wealth tier, matching the leaderboard.
Inventory: the rarity glow on material cards is no longer clipped at the edges.
Heists: the Seat filled badge no longer overflows the crew card on mobile.
Gem Shop: the reliquary and treasure-chest pack icons no longer spill gems outside their frames.
Tablet: heavy screen-noise over the Stronghold and Ascension tree maps has been reduced.
v4.13.0: Ascension XP Overhaul
New Features
Ascension: each ascension now costs more experience than the last at every rank, so re-climbing after prestiging is a real journey instead of an instant re-ascend, with the Progression view reflecting your scaled requirements and the ascend popups showing exactly what you earn. Ascension points are now a flat amount per ascension, the per-level max-energy bonus was toned down, and existing prestiged players were recomputed onto the new curve with a free talent and ascension respec plus 500 shadowgems.
Power Level: your power level now reflects your combat stats only. The old flat rank and prestige bonus has been removed so the number tracks your real fighting strength.
Bug Fixes
Talents: long rank titles like Shadowblade no longer spill outside the rank card.
Mail: gifted shadowgems now arrive with an in-game mail, and new mail shows its toast and unread badge instantly without a refresh.
v4.12.1: Refill & Notification Fixes

v4.12.0: Trading, Heists & Quality of Life
New Features
Escrow: trade potions through escrow, preview the transfer fee before you propose, edit a pending trade, and pick assets from rarity-sorted lists with per-item stat summaries so identical items are told apart.
Navigation: a new Cmd-K command palette jumps straight to any screen, and you can now hide the menu descriptions or icons from the menu or from Settings.
Heists: a live crew success-chance range that shifts as the crew fills, an 'only what I qualify for' board filter, leaders can swap their own conveyance while the crew is forming, and new crews default to auto-commit.

Duels: filter your history by Won or Lost and sort the target picker.
Guild: a treasury income breakdown by source, plus search and sort on the guild browser.

Black Lotus Den: see your raid success chance before you commit to a raid.
Notifications: get a reward-ready alert, with a Settings toggle, even when the game is closed.
Weapons: two-handed weapons now hit roughly as hard as a one-handed weapon plus an offhand.
Lottery: win odds now show as a percentage, and events explain their effect in plain terms.
Bug Fixes
Jail: the failure message no longer rounds your bust chance up to 100%.
Equip Best: fixed suggestions while wearing a two-handed weapon (no empty weapon slot or loop) and corrected the power-change numbers.
Energy: the refill and 'out of energy' popups now match, read more clearly, and no longer clip on mobile.
Top Bar: long usernames and large gold or gem values no longer overlap the wealth column.
Profile: long player names now shrink to fit the card.
Casino: betting is blocked on a casino that is locked in a trade, and stale-owner and game-order display issues are fixed.
Mailbox: fixed delete-read, reading your own deleted messages, and marking whole threads as read.
Guild: donation limits now show correctly before you submit a donation.
Chat: sending a message now scrolls straight to it.
Statistics: NPC bustouts now count toward the server-wide Jailbreaks total.
Gear: the reroll preview no longer crashes, and it confirms the gem cost before rerolling again.
Resource bars: the regen (+1/Xs) indicator stays visible instead of flickering off each second.
Mobile: portrait fixes so the casino, heist and energy screens no longer overlap or clip.
Duels: fixed the target-picker sort menu that opened behind the modal, and a button overflow on mobile.
Economy: closed several gold-farming and laundering loopholes across referrals, the material market, the arena and casino trades.
Navigation: alignment and mobile-drawer fixes for the search bar and the menu toggles.
v4.11.0: Stability & Economy Fixes

Bug Fixes
Bank: corrected interest that could pay far more than the banked cap, and added amount validation on deposits and withdrawals.
Casino & Escrow: casino bank actions and traded casinos are now locked during a trade, so bankrolls cannot desync.

Regen: paid energy, HP and mana regen buffs now apply at their full rate.
PvP: NPC fights no longer double-credit HP regen on zero-damage rounds.
Gear: rerolling now yields correct, consistent stats when the budget matches the eligible stats.
Buffs: an expired buff can no longer bring back a stale bonus.
Jail: prisoner listing and rescue use the correct rank, a cleanup deadlock is fixed, and jail status is re-checked during Bust Party.
Potions: fixed a race that could lose a restore.
Achievements: multi-rank jumps no longer skip milestones, and duel-win achievements count reliably.
Countdowns: timers now account for clock differences between your device and the server.
Ascension: the navigation badge no longer shows Ready during the 24 hour cooldown.
Crafting: the Forge bulk-craft discount no longer erodes to almost nothing.
Daily timers: the login-streak gap check and the suggestions daily cap now reset consistently on UTC.
Lottery: past-round history now shows the correct jackpot for rolled-over rounds.
Talents: your hpMax and power now include the talent hpMax bonus.
v4.10.0: Casino Bankroll Overhaul
New Features
Casino: the gold you pay to buy a casino now goes straight into its bankroll, and you can reclaim the entire bank whenever you like by withdrawing or forfeiting (the old locked house minimum is gone). The forfeit dialog now shows your exact payout, and a newly won casino reminds you to fund its bank.
Leaderboard: gold banked inside casinos you own now counts toward your total wealth on the leaderboard and economy stats.
Statistics: the Server Stats page has a new Casino Banked Gold total, showing the gold held across every casino bankroll.
Vote: BrowserGamesTop has been added as a vote site, cast your daily vote there to earn gold.
Bug Fixes
Bank: daily interest now reliably pays out just once per day, fixing an edge case in the day-guard check.
v4.9.1: Casino Exploit Fix
Bug Fixes
Casino: closed a gold exploit where buying a casino and immediately forfeiting or withdrawing from it paid out the house bankroll. A casino's starting bankroll now stays with the establishment; you only get back what you funded above it.
v4.9.0: Streak Rewards & Gem Sparkles
New Features
Gem Shop: every shadowgem pack icon now twinkles with its own small sparkles, more of them on the pricier packs, and the pack artwork got a cleanup pass.
Login Streak: the one-time long-streak milestone rewards (30, 60, 100 and 365-day) are now significantly bigger, so a milestone always out-rewards a single daily calendar payout.
Bug Fixes
Jail: the reward popup after freeing a prisoner now shows the correct XP. The rescue-streak bonus no longer counts toward your normal XP, only toward gold and Jailbreak XP.
Performance: the Lottery, Heists and Vote pages load faster, and fixed a rare error that could happen during heavy jail-rescue traffic.
v4.8.0: Ascension Rebalance
New Features
Ascension: ascending is now limited to once per day. When you reach the maximum rank again, the Ascend button shows how long until your next ascension is available.
Bug Fixes
Ascension: busting prisoners out of jail no longer accelerates your ascension. The rescue-streak bonus stops counting toward ascension progress, your gold and jailbreak XP from busting are unchanged.
v4.7.0: Jail & Chat Quality-of-Life
New Features
Jail: busting NPC outlaws now builds and pays the same escalating rescue-streak bonus as busting real players.
Human Check: clearing the "are you human?" check now always grants a small reward (a little gold, energy, or XP) with a bit of flavour, shown in a popup.
Chat: composers now show a "Reconnecting" state and keep your typed message if the connection blips instead of failing the send, and long chats stay smooth while you type.
Bug Fixes
Jail: fixed being sent to jail after a breakout the game displayed as 100% during a Jail Riot.
Chat: messages now reliably scroll to the newest one in every chat.
Performance: fixed page loads stalling during busy Jail Riots.
v4.6.0: Spend-All Energy & Casino Refresh
New Features

Tavern: cleaner casino cards (max bet and owner repositioned, venue and city split), plus a Poker room marked Coming soon.
Jail: Most Wanted elites have distinct portraits, riots can now push a normal bust chance to 100% with a "?" explainer, and freed outlaws stay pinned with a Hauled back countdown.

Gem History: every gem gain and spend is now recorded with readable labels, 20 per page with a Show all button.
Gem Market: your buy and sell orders now show the date and time they were placed.
Friends: add friends from a new Add Friend button, and filter your friends list by name.
Quests: claiming a reward that would waste energy over your cap now asks you to confirm first.
Suggestions: suggestion cards now start collapsed to their title.
Bust Party: the Discord breakout announcements now show the difficulty, bust count, and correct pronouns.
Ascendancy: the badge now shows just the rank number, without the star.
Bug Fixes
Your Goals: "XP to next rank" now reads correctly for ascended players.
Stronghold: large "Full in" hour counts now show thousands separators.
Actions: the Potential Drops toggle and Commit button line up across all action cards.
The Fence: long item names in your transaction history are no longer cut off.
Mobile: names and labels no longer get truncated on portrait phones across the leaderboard, Who's Online, jail, friends, and guild.
v4.5.0: Casino Previews & Vote Rewards
New Features
Bust Party: Discord now announces when a party ends, naming the winner and their reward, and the start alert shows the reward in bold. A captured NPC is also no longer executed while a Jail Riot is active, its execution timer extends until the riot ends.
Jail Riot: the riot card now lists who funded each tier upgrade, and upgrading tier-by-tier now costs more in total than jumping straight to the top tier.
Tavern: each casino on the overview now shows its current max bet.
Casino: owners can now open their own casino and see its tables like any player would, with betting disabled, instead of a locked-out card.
Vote: the IndieDB 100-gem reward now requires actually voting and leaving a review. Submit your IndieDB profile link or username, and the gems arrive once we confirm your review.
Bug Fixes
Login: an expired session now sends you to the login screen with a clear notice, instead of leaving a raw "token has expired" error on the page.
Progression: the jailbreak Progression screen now shows the true 100% top bust chance instead of capping the display at 99%.
v4.4.0: Tiered Jail Riot & Casino Takeovers
New Features
Jail Riot: three priced tiers (+5%, +12.5%, +25%), any player can pay to upgrade an active riot to a higher tier, the starter's name links to their profile, and the cooldown is now 2 hours.
Casinos: a forfeited casino returns to the winnable unowned pool so anyone can bust the house and claim it, and after busting one you keep it or forfeit it again.
Casino bank: the owned-casino and detailed earnings panels are tidier, with even Deposit/Withdraw buttons, wider fields, and a Max button on the table limit.
Casino floors: per-city table-limit floors are lower, so Duskholm and Dark Citadel casinos are cheaper to run.
Inventory: you can now salvage conveyances straight from the Conveyances tab, not just at the Stables.
Resources: the energy refill popup and Full Restore page now show a "Full in" countdown to natural regen.
Reward popups: action and raid results now show materials and gear as rarity-colored cards with icons.
Bust Party: an opt-in Discord role is now pinged whenever a Bust Party begins.
Profile: the guild card content is now centered.
Bug Fixes
Casinos: unowned and forfeited casinos are no longer stuck unplayable, they had been rejecting bets while the bank grace window was open.
Resurrection Charm: now only saves you from a failed jail bust, so it is not spent on unrelated failures like a guild raid.
Jail: bust-chance badges now show 100% when a bust is truly guaranteed, instead of capping at 99%.
Gold text: many gold labels that showed as plain text now render in gold, including the Jail Riot popup and tier buttons.
Confirm dialogs: long confirm buttons like "Fund the Upgrade" no longer wrap onto two lines.
Reward popups: a generic gear drop no longer shows its name twice.
v4.3.0: Jail Quality-of-Life & Mythic Drops
New Features
Jail: the Currently Imprisoned, Most Wanted, and Previous Bust Parties sections are now collapsible and remember whether you left them open, and the story Mission prisoner now sits at the top of the page.
Jailbreak Tools: the mythic Key of the Damned now boosts crafting-material drops from NPC busts and is the only tool that can turn up mythic-tier materials.
Bug Fixes
Jail: the low-chance bust warning now also appears when breaking NPC prisoners out, not just players.
Jailbreak Tools: tool bonuses now read as clear multipliers (for example "bust chance x1.15" instead of a confusing "+15%"), and the Progression screen notes that its chance ranges already include your equipped tool and Luck.
Actions: after ascending, actions above your current rank correctly re-lock until you climb back up, matching how travel, stables, and heists already reset.
v4.2.0
New Features
Casino: player-owned casinos now run on their own bank. Fund a casino with the gold you are willing to lose, and its table limit scales with that bank: 1% of the bank up to 5,000,000, then 0.5% above, capped per city (Ashenvale 50,000, Shadowmere 100,000, Duskholm 150,000, The Dark Citadel 200,000). Winning bets are now paid from the casino bank instead of the owner's gold on hand, so only what you deposit into the bank is ever at risk. Owners can deposit, withdraw, or forfeit a casino at any time. There is a 24 hour transition: while it runs an unfunded casino stays closed and safe, and when it ends every casino opens to bettors whether or not its bank is funded, so fund yours before then.
Bug Fixes
Jail: fixed a Jail Riot bug where NPC bust chances all collapsed to 95% during a riot. The riot boost now only ever raises a bust chance and never lowers one that was already higher.
v4.1.0
New Features
Casino: player-owned casinos now enforce a fair minimum bet, so an owner can no longer set the table limit so low that nobody can meaningfully play or bust them. Every casino has a floor by city: Ashenvale 5,000, Shadowmere 10,000, Duskholm 50,000, The Dark Citadel 100,000. On top of that, the minimum scales with the owner's total wealth (gold plus banked): 2.5% of your wealth up to 5,000,000, then 1.25% on anything above that, capped per city so it never runs away, Ashenvale 500,000, Shadowmere 1,000,000, Duskholm 1,500,000, The Dark Citadel 2,000,000. Owners can still set a higher limit by hand, as long as they keep 20x that amount in gold on hand to back it. Why the change: holding a casino is meant to carry real risk. Other players in the realm want to bet on your tables and try to bust you, so you should not be able to rake in the profits while hiding behind a tiny table limit. If you would rather not take on that risk, you can always sell the casino to another player.
Ascension: a realm-wide announcement now heralds the moment a player Ascends, and the ascend confirmation popup is cleaner with a clickable character name and tidier one-line buttons.
Jail: prisoner fines now show a clear divider between players and NPCs, and the Jail Riot cooldown has been cut from 6 hours to 1 hour.
Feedback: buttons across popups and confirmation dialogs now give a subtle haptic buzz on supported devices.
Gem Shop: the Double XP Scroll is now 100 gems and lasts 30 minutes.
The Fence: carriage and conveyance prices have been rebalanced to line up with Reliquary material value.
Performance: a round of server optimisations cut data usage and load for a smoother, more reliable experience.
Bug Fixes
Ascension: the talent map no longer blocks page scrolling when you swipe, a stray white outline on the selected node is gone, and a bug that granted Ascension Points on normal rank-ups has been fixed (any wrongly-granted points were reclaimed).
Jail: the jailbreak progression popup now factors your Ascension bonus into the shown odds and explains them, and the NPC prisoner card lays out cleanly on mobile portrait.
Event toasts: the Dismiss button on the Bust Party and Jail Riot end toasts is now clearly styled in red.
Guild: the roster search row no longer overflows on smaller mobile screens.
Profile: a long equipped title now stays centered when it wraps onto two or more lines.
v4.0.0
New Features
Ascension: the endgame prestige system arrives. Once you reach max rank you can ascend, resetting your character in exchange for permanent prestige power that carries across every rebirth. Spend prestige points across a seven-branch Ascendancy tree of passive bonuses on a zoomable, pannable talent map, respec whenever you like, read the built-in tree guide, and see your combined bonus at a glance. Prestige-level badges now appear across the game and a dedicated prestige leaderboard ranks the most ascended players. Travel, stables and heists re-lock to your live rank so every rebirth is a real re-climb, while your gear, unlocks and rewards are preserved.
Gem Shop: a redrawn Dragon's Hoard centrepiece and a distinct, larger icon for every gem pack (cards now lead with the icon and pack name), a Gem Value card, a spending-tier tracker showing exactly how much more to reach the next reward, and consistent purple gem icons throughout.
Jail: a new Jail Riot realm event lets anyone pay gold to raise everyone's jailbreak and Bust Party success chance, with a live nav badge while a riot runs, a confirmation before you start one, redrawn jail banner art, your effective boosted bust chance shown on each outlaw, and both your current and best bust streak on display.
Guild: activity payouts that automatically hand out gems to members on Bust Party wins, on their own tab, visible to members with a payout history.
Casino: a combined net profit and loss tracker with a per-game breakdown, plus your personal casino ledger, both on the Tavern hub.
Duels: challenge with an optional gold wager where the winner takes the whole pot, with a Max button to stake it all.
Actions: action cards now show the HP-on-fail risk and any practice bonus, each with a tap-to-explain tooltip.
Talents: quick +5 and -5 point buttons and a live preview of how each allocation changes your Power Level and Speed before you commit.
Chat: a broken-heart quick reaction across guild, global and direct messages, relative timestamps on messages, and up to 500 messages loaded per channel.
Materials: a Convert All button turns every material of a rarity into the next tier at once, with a result popup showing what you got.
Markets: Black Market cards show a gear stat summary and item flavor text, the Material Market shows your lifetime gold spent and earned, Max buttons across the market screens, and press-Enter-to-buy in the Reliquary.
Top Bar: gold reserved in trades is shown separately as non-spendable, with thousands separators, on both desktop and mobile.
Nav: unread-mail and pending-duel badges on the desktop menu, gold menu-glyph icons on page titles, and a clearer Menu alert badge.
Quests: daily and weekly quests can now be completed by spending energy.
Social: search and sort your guild roster, plus a friends-online badge when a friend comes online.
Escrow: a confirmation step before you accept a trade, and the Courier's Favor buff now discounts the trade and escrow gold fee.
PvP & Arena: a sort toggle and a labelled search field for opponents, and the HP Overflow Elixir upsell removed from the PvP, Arena and Duel pages.
Forum: topic replies now show newest-first with the reply box beneath the topic.
Bug Fixes
Actions: popups and popovers open reliably again and close when you click outside them.
Escrow: trade fees no longer drift, the fee is locked to the trade the moment it is created.
Stronghold: cancelling a queued build no longer resets the timer on the build already in progress.
Bust Party: busted outlaws now stay gone until the jail empties, then respawn on staggered, independent timers.
Jail: only a failed jailbreak resets your bust streak, and an NPC's crime label stays the same across re-sentencing.
Quests: quests with retired objectives now show readable text instead of a raw internal key.
Guild: pinned chat messages are clickable, jump to the original, and survive the message-backlog window.
Top Bar: wealth and resource numbers shrink to fit the compact bars instead of overflowing.
Gems: the currency gem icon now stays purple everywhere.
Shop: items list their full stat names and no longer repeat the potion effect line.

Jail: bust-chance colors are more honest, and the shown percentage now matches the server even if your device clock is off.
Quests: winning a PvP match against an NPC now counts toward your PvP quests.
Black Market: the buy buttons now line up along the bottom of every card.
Interface: the danger and error red is now a softer shade across the app.
v1.32.0

Chat: a new desktop chat dock with Global, Guild, and Friend DM tabs, including private messages, per-tab unread badges, and online status dots next to names.
Stronghold: two new buildings, a Gem Mine that slowly produces shadowgems and a Church where you can pray once a day for a 1-hour stat boon.
Heists: a big update, publish a crew to the new public board for others to instant-join, set and later edit per-seat rank and conveyance requirements, repair conveyances right in the join picker, leave a forming crew, jump to your finished heists from crew-ready and complete notifications, and enjoy a tidier collapsible layout with clickable player names. Heist rank requirements were also realigned to conveyances you can actually obtain.
Jail: pay gold to bail out early, with the cost scaling to your remaining sentence and ticking down every second, and your jailbreak bust streak is now always shown at the top of the Jail page.
Inventory and Gear: a new Conveyances tab with in-place repair, and you can now upgrade or reroll gear while it is equipped, no need to unequip first.
Black Lotus: a travelling NPC seller now stocks lotus in every city, restocking over time.
Top Bar: Banked gold, HP, and Mana are now clickable shortcuts, a live countdown ticks toward your next energy, HP, and mana point, and gaining a buff briefly flashes Active Buffs on desktop or shows a red dot on mobile.
Marketplace: buying now shows how many of an item you already own.
Black Market: listings show what a potion does, and potion purchases now confirm with a popup.
PvP: a battle summary above the result showing damage dealt and taken, your biggest hit, crits, dodges, and rounds.
Escrow and Bank: trades show the 4% gold fee and the net amount, you can auto-cover owed gold from your bank, and your savings goal now counts banked gold.
Guild: the roster cap now grows past 20, up to 30, as the guild hits milestones.
The Fence: a kind filter and sort options when picking your own conveyances to sell.
World Map: the city popup now spells out the full fast-travel toll breakdown.
Bug Fixes
Profile: fixed the page flickering when you open it, and the avatar aura jitter that got worse the longer you played.
Gear: fixed the equipped mythic upgrade badge colour, corrected the mythic reroll price shown, and removed the useless Reroll button on common gear.
Combat: timeout battles are now decided by how much of your health pool is left, NPC attack and defence were rebalanced so well-geared players can win, and the battle log defender stats are fixed.
Stronghold: fixed errors when building or opening the new buildings, and the Church cooldown now counts down live.
Top Bar: the Active Buffs highlight no longer stays stuck on.
Escrow: gold sent through a trade now correctly pays the transfer fee, closing a way to dodge the send fee.
Chat: unified message sizing, your own messages no longer count as unread, and the dock now sits above the top bar.
Guild: removed treasury withdrawal (it still accrues for future use) and aligned the page layout.
Mobile: assorted layout fixes across the resource bar, inventory tabs, friend cards, the heists guide, and the Lotus Caravan.
Actions: the city banner now shows the correct city art on first load.
UI: error and warning messages (such as heist invite errors) now show in red instead of appearing as blank text.
v1.31.0
New Features
Art: new hand-drawn artwork throughout Shadowrealm, with header banners on the major locations and a unique emblem on every page.
Actions: the page now shows a banner for the city you are viewing, and the art changes as you switch cities.
Profiles: guild rosters now show when a player was last seen online, with a refreshed roster card layout.
Bug Fixes
Casino: pages now show each game type with its own icon instead of a generic one.
Layout: fixed mobile layout issues on the page banners and the Mailbox compose button.
Navigation: the menu now keeps its scroll position when you reopen it.
v1.30.0
New Features
Gem Shop: now has a EUR / USD price toggle showing an approximate USD price. You are still billed in euros at checkout.
Inventory: potions now show what they do and are grouped by type, so they are easier to find.
Stronghold: storage now shows how long until each resource is full.
Quests: daily quests, weekly challenges, and the login streak now show a reset countdown under the tabs.
Chat: optional toast pop-up for new global chat messages, with a mute button right on the toast.
Heists: the How Heists Work guide now shows drop rates, the material vs gear split and rarity odds for each heist.
Reliquary: now has proper quantity steppers, so you can clear the field and choose how many to buy.
Profile: hover or tap an equipped item on any profile to see its full stats, like the inventory cards.
Black Lotus Den: the low-energy hint now links to the den, where you can refill energy with gold.
Gem Market: value updated to reflect the current economy, so gold per gem is higher.
Bug Fixes
Statistics: fixed card titles being cut off on mobile.
Gems: fixed long gem-history entries overlapping the gem amount on mobile.
Progression: the popup now opens only when you tap your name or rank, not nearby empty space.
Profile: fixed the Bandit rank emblem showing an outdated version on mobile and the installed app.
v1.29.0
New Features
Heists: now show the conveyance type each role needs and the gold value of every conveyance you can commit.
Heists: new How Heists Work guide explains payouts, drop chances, and what raises your crew success rate.
Heists: above your rank now show the required rank up front instead of failing when you try to start them.
Layout: a new hint suggests zooming out when your browser is zoomed in, so desktop players get the full layout with the side menu.
Black Lotus Den: refreshed the Refill Energy popup, with a link to top up energy with gold at the den.
Bug Fixes
Navigation: fixed the menu appearing blank when the browser was zoomed in.
Popups: every popup now closes when you click outside it, including the character stats help popup.
Layout: fixed the background page jumping to the top when a popup opened.
Registration: no longer fails when our email service is briefly busy. Your verification email is queued and a short notice explains the wait.
v1.28.0
New Features
The Fence: player names in transaction history now link straight to their profiles.
Profile: cleaner equipment paperdoll with larger slot icons, no more labels up top, and empty slots now read "No Offhand", "No Ring", and so on.
Navigation: performing an action on the Actions or Jail page, or tapping a menu item on mobile, no longer jumps the page back to the top.
Icons: bigger, clearer icons across the world map, The Fence, your casinos, and the Black Lotus dens.
Statistics: cards are tidier, with each title beside its icon and more breathing room.
Bug Fixes
Forge: recipe tooltips now appear only when you hover or tap the info icon, instead of covering the whole card.
v1.27.0
New Features
The Fence: a new marketplace to buy and sell conveyances stolen from the Black Stables, with filters by kind and sorting.
Marketplace: The Fence now keep a transaction history of what you bought and sold, with total gold spent and earned.
Jail: prisoner cards now show why each player was locked up.
Gear: weapon cards now spell out one-handed or two-handed in the name, with a distinct two-handed sword icon.
Bug Fixes
Layout: fixed some pages not scrolling on mobile until you refreshed the page.
Casino: fixed being able to spin the roulette again while the wheel was still spinning.
Duels: the Find Target popup background now covers the whole screen.
Popups: are less see-through, and the page behind an open popup no longer scrolls.
Vote: the page now correctly shows a claimed one-time reward instead of an active button.
Casino: the earnings back link now returns to the world map when you arrived from there.
General: large numbers like treasury and balances now show thousands separators, and guild city payout timers now show seconds.
Mobile: various layout fixes across jail, exchange, lottery, statistics, the world map and stronghold.
v1.26.1
Bug Fixes
PWA: fixed the update popup reloading the game twice on the installed app. It now reloads once cleanly.
IndieDB voting is now a one-time reward: link your IndieDB profile once for 100 shadowgems. IndieDB has no daily vote, so the card no longer shows a recurring vote.
v1.26.0
New Features
New vote site: IndieDB. Link your IndieDB profile from the vote page to claim a one-time reward of 100 shadowgems.
Vote: voting on IndieDB and BrowserMMORPG now unlocks once you link your account on that site, the same step that grants your 100 shadowgems.
v1.25.0
New Features
Lottery: the weekly draw now announces its result to everyone with a popup, so you never miss a result, and ticket purchases no longer have a per-round cap. A new Buy popup lets you pick exactly how many tickets to buy.
Two new Arena tiers above Mythic: Ascendant and Eternal, for the fiercest gladiators in the realm.
Announcements: heist and lottery results now arrive as a full centered announcement instead of a small corner toast.
Heist planning is clearer: set the cut for each role with quick 0/25/50/75/100% buttons, your own role is marked with a You badge, and hiring hands now shows the effective cut for each seat alongside the hired-hand tax.
Heists: recent jobs now show the date and time of each job, with drops coloured by their rarity.
Bug Fixes
General: big numbers across the game (gold, XP, Arena rating, counts) now display with thousands separators so they are easier to read.
PWA: fixed a brief duplicate reload popup that could flash on mobile right after a new version installs.
Mobile polish: the slot machine Double Bet button no longer overflows, the Tavern View Stats label is centred, stronghold build-queue names are no longer cut off, and heist conveyance buttons are now a uniform size.
v1.24.0
New Features
Heists: a new 4-player crew job. Gather a crew, each member commits a stolen conveyance for their role, and the leader sets the gold split before you strike. Pull it off for a big gold pot, full XP, and a shot at gear or materials shared across the whole crew.
Two heists to run: The Toll-Road Ambush, open to everyone, and the rank 7 and up Black Masquerade with higher stakes and richer loot. A botched job sends the whole crew to jail, and the conveyances you commit are spent win or lose.
Heists: hire NPC hands to fill empty seats using your own stolen conveyances, so a heist can still run when few players are around. Hired hands take a cut of the gold, but you keep your full XP and any loot.
Heists: repair a worn conveyance right from the heist screen while choosing what to commit, with no trip back to the Black Stables.
Clearer crews: see each member online status and who leads the crew, the gold share on every role, and your conveyances sorted best-first with their condition shown.
Heists: leaders can cancel a pending invite or remove a member to free up a seat, and the whole crew gets a notification the moment a heist resolves so you can see what you earned.
Statistics: the page now tracks Heists Committed, Successful Heists, and the total Gold Heisted across the realm.
v1.23.0
New Features
Gem Shop: prices now include VAT. The price you see is the price you pay, with tax handled automatically at checkout.
Gem Shop: checkout now supports more local payment methods and your own local currency.
v1.22.0
New Features
Marketplace: buy buttons in the Marketplace, Black Market, Reliquary, and Black Lotus dens now grey out and read "Not enough gold" when you cannot afford the item, so you know before you click.
Gem Shop: now shows your spendable gem balance, greys out items you cannot afford, and tells you when gems are locked in your active market listings.
Actions: the page now opens already filtered to the city you are in, and follows you when you travel.
Vote: a new voting site, GameStop200, joins the Vote page.
Bug Fixes
Send Gold: no longer lets you enter more than you can actually send. The amount is capped so it plus the transfer fee always fits your balance.
Gem Market: the shadowgem market and gem shop now agree on your balance, so you can no longer try to list or spend gems that are already tied up in a listing.
Actions: the action result popup no longer closes on its own. Close it when you are ready, and gear and material drops now use the full width so long names do not get cut off on mobile.
Actions: energy-short Commit and Steal buttons now clearly read "No Energy" and disable instead of failing.
Arena: the leaderboard is easier to read with tier-coloured ranks, and the transfer-history fee now shows proper thousands separators.
v1.21.1
Bug Fixes
General: fixed the Discord invite link. The links to our Discord in the footer, forum, and support page work again.
v1.21.0
New Features
Global Chat can now ping you: turn on "Notify me of new messages" and a "!" appears in the menu when someone speaks, with the unread messages highlighted in the chat.
Guild Chat: gets the same new-message alert and highlights, plus a new "My Guild" shortcut in the menu that jumps straight to your guild.
Manual vote sites are quicker now: tapping "Vote now" grants your reward right away, with no separate claim step.
Actions: buttons across the game now share one consistent style, so committing a deed, attacking, breaking out of jail, buying, and more all look and feel the same.
Bug Fixes
Guild Raid: trying to start a raid without being in a guild now shows a clear popup instead of a message that was easy to miss on mobile.
Fixed several mobile layout issues: buttons and input fields now line up at the same height, and long item names in the Shadow Exchange no longer overlap their rarity tag.
v1.20.0
New Features
Voting is simpler: each site now shows a single button. Tap "Vote now", and once you return it becomes "Claim gold" so there is no separate locked button.
Vote: automatic sites start their cooldown the instant you vote, so the card reacts right away. If the toplist never confirms your vote, the button quietly returns so you can try again.
Login: days you can collect on the login calendar now stand out with a pulsing gold glow.
Bug Fixes
Login: tapping the Streak button now scrolls straight to your login calendar on both desktop and mobile.
v1.19.1
New Features
Stronghold: reworked resource production into a diminishing-returns curve. Level 1 buildings now produce a solid 2 per minute (up from the previous patch), so you can afford early upgrades in minutes instead of hours, while each higher level adds a little less than the one before.
v1.19.0
New Features
Gear: bought from the Black Market and Gem Shop now rolls its own randomized stats, just like forged gear, so no two pieces are identical.
Stronghold: resource buildings now produce far less at low levels, so upgrading your Bone Quarry, Blackstone Pit, and Blighted Grove matters much more. Each upgrade also grants a bigger production boost than before.
Duels: the duel recent-history cards have a fresh look, with ornate framing and clearer victory and defeat styling that matches the rest of the game.
v1.18.0
New Features
Gear Crates: now let you choose which slot you receive instead of rolling a random piece. Pick your slot, and the crate grants gear of that rarity for your rank.
Gem Shop: Legendary and Mythic gear crates are cheaper, now 450 and 700 gems, so they are a fair alternative to crafting.
Gem Shop: every epic, legendary, and mythic crafting material can now be bought, including the newly added Moonstone and Soul Ember.
Statistics: server stats now has gambling sections, casino wagers, player payouts, biggest single win, lottery tickets and jackpots, and Black Lotus den activity.
Layout: logged-out pages now have a sticky top bar that keeps "Back to home" and the music toggle in reach as you scroll.
Gem Shop polish: crafting materials use the same icons as your inventory and reliquary, gear crates are redrawn as distinct chests, and purchase popups are tinted by item rarity.
Settings: shows Notifications and Recruit a Friend side by side on desktop.
Bug Fixes
Login: the daily-login calendar's final day now uses the same border as the other days.
Vote: tidied the Vote page heading and the footer link order.
v1.17.1
Bug Fixes
Vote: fixed the cooldown for OpenPBBG and Top100Arena. The in-game timer could say you were ready to vote before those sites had reset, so you would get "you have already voted today" and earn nothing. The cooldown now waits a full day to match them.
v1.17.0
New Features
Guild Chat: leaders and officers can now moderate guild chat, hover (or tap on mobile) a message and remove it with the delete control. Deleted messages vanish for everyone in the guild instantly.
Guild Chat: now uses the same clean layout as global chat on every screen size, the name and time sit on a header line with the full message below, so long messages read properly on both desktop and mobile.
Bug Fixes
Vote: rewards work again. Once you had voted on a site, the cooldown could wrongly report "already claimed" forever and never pay out, on both the automatic and the claim-it-yourself sites. Voting now grants gold correctly once the cooldown has passed.
Layout: logged-out pages now have a consistent "Back to home" link that returns you to the landing page.
v1.16.1
New Features
Economy update: bank interest is now capped. The first 100,000,000 gold in your vault earns compounding interest, and interest on anything above that is paid straight to your gold on hand instead of growing the vault. The vault warns you when a deposit would cross the cap.
Casino: unowned casino payouts are now capped at what the house actually holds. A jackpot that would bust the house empties it and hands you ownership, rather than paying out impossible sums.
Bug Fixes
Fixed guild chat on mobile: long messages now wrap properly and the Send button is no longer cut off.
Polished several layouts: the stronghold build-queue Cancel button, Forsaken Hold upgrade costs, and arena tier labels now display correctly on mobile and desktop.
Forge: now shows the correct crafting fee. It previously displayed less than you were actually charged.
Lottery: the buy button now works when paying from gold on hand.
Marketplace: you can no longer equip or reroll gear while it is listed, and listed gear no longer shows a Reroll button that did nothing.
Security: closed several economy exploits and duplication bugs across voting rewards, jailbreaks, the marketplace, trades, and the casino, and tightened anti-cheat throughout.
Performance: profile and dashboard pages now load faster.
v1.16.0
New Features
Global Chat: is now moderated. Admins can remove messages and ban troublemakers from the channel, keeping it civil for everyone.
Bug Fixes
Profile: your Jailbreaks total now matches the Jailbreaks leaderboard. Both count successful breakouts of players and NPCs.
Global Chat: fixed the send button being cut off on smaller mobile screens.
v1.15.0
New Features
Global Chat has arrived: a public, server-wide channel where every denizen of the realm can talk. Find it under Community in the menu.
Events: seasonal and weekend events are no longer just flavour. Their bonuses now actually apply to your actions, boosting gold, XP, luck, and drop rates while the event runs.
Events: flash alerts now tell you exactly what is live, the buff and how long it lasts, and tapping the notification takes you straight into the game.
Black Lotus Den: owners can now see their earnings on the den page, units sold, gold from sales, defence fees, and total earned since you claimed it.
Quests: three new solo-friendly daily quests, so you always have dailies you can finish without touching PvP or the arena.
Gem Shop: gear crates now state their guaranteed rarity, so you know exactly what you are buying.
Bug Fixes
Mailbox: the unread mail badge now updates the moment a message arrives, no refresh needed.
Guild Chat: keeps receiving messages after a reconnection.
Stronghold: actions now show clean error messages instead of internal codes.
General: new Bandit rank emblem, and material icons now look consistent everywhere they appear across the Reliquary, Inventory, Shadow Exchange, and Black Market.
v1.14.1
Bug Fixes
Navigation: the sidebar now keeps its scroll position as you move between pages, so navigating from the lower menu items no longer snaps you back to the top.
Navigation: the browser back button now returns you to where you were on the previous page instead of jumping to the top.
Note: the sidebar fix does not apply on the Change Password, Rules, and Release Notes pages. Those use a standalone layout, the Change Password screen is a focused centered page, and Rules and Release Notes are shared with the logged-out site, so they keep their own self-contained layout rather than the in-game shell.
v1.14.0
New Features
Bank: buying something you cannot quite afford, if your bank covers the rest, shops now offer a one-step withdraw-and-buy across the Reliquary, Black Market, Marketplace, Potion Shop, Gem Market, Lottery, and casino purchases.
Two new jailbreak ranks to chase: Warden's Bane and The Unshackled. Rescue bonuses were rebalanced at the top end so high ranks do not make busting trivial.
Gear: auto-equip now values upgraded gear correctly and compares combat stats first, so an upgraded piece is no longer swapped out for a weaker fresh drop. HP, Mana, and Energy only break an exact tie.
Black Market prices rebalanced: potions now cost half the Potion Shop price, and stolen armaments are priced to match their real worth.
Lottery refreshed: the pot now starts at 25,000 gold and each ticket adds 250 gold, with clearer ticket pricing on the page.
Bug Fixes
Bank: fixed being unable to deposit large amounts of gold.
Vote: fixed OpenPBBG showing as available before the site would actually accept your vote.
Polish pass: grouped numbers in the Stronghold vault, and Statistics cards that fit properly on mobile.
v1.13.0
New Features
Black Lotus Den: new den in every city. Claim an unclaimed den to earn a steady trickle of lotus over time, then buy fixes to stash extra energy above your normal cap.
Black Lotus Den: set your own selling price and pocket the gold when others buy. Rivals can raid your den and seize it by combat power, so each claim or takeover grants 24 hours of protection.
Black Lotus Den: every den has its own history and statistics page tracking past owners, raids, and reign records.
New shadowgem marketplace: buy and sell shadowgems between players, with gem values driven by real market sales.
The Halls of Fortune got a redesign: a cleaner two-up layout, casino game icons, max bet display, and the controlling guild shown for each venue.
Black Stables: you can now trade stolen carriages with other players through secure escrow.
Profiles: player names are now clickable across the app, taking you straight to their profile.
Bug Fixes
Casino: net earnings now show in red when you are down on a game.
Black Lotus Den: closed an exploit that let den owners buy lotus from their own den.
v1.12.0
New Features
Statistics: new Server Stats tab on the page, see realm-wide totals like circulating gold, banked gold, shadowgems, renown, battles, duels, guilds, items crafted, votes cast, and more.
Login: tap the streak badge to jump straight to the daily calendar and auto-scroll to the rewards waiting to be claimed.
Stronghold: the Library now also improves your success at Black Stables carriage theft, not just field actions.
Forge: the page now shows how much your Stronghold Forge level reduces crafting material costs.
Settings: new toggle to enable or disable push notifications.
Stronghold: Library and Forge bonuses now climb a little with every level, all the way to level 20, instead of maxing out early.
Story campaign missions rebalanced: much more gold and XP along the way, with a legendary weapon as the final reward.
Lottery: jackpots now grow by 350 gold per ticket (ticket price is unchanged).
Bug Fixes
Achievements: fixed 11 that were impossible to earn. Players who already qualified have been awarded them automatically.
Duels: fixed results that could show the wrong winner, and a PVP loss that wrongly displayed renown earned.
Gem Shop: now always shows the exact price you will be charged.
Stronghold: fixed the build queue crowding the active build on mobile when only one or two builds were queued.
General: polished in-game wording across the rules, forum, events, and other pages.
v1.11.0
New Features
Black Market: Early Access now lets you buy from tomorrow's rotation, not just preview it, with a Today/Tomorrow toggle so you can shop both days. Early Access is now 150 gems.
Reliquary: now has a rarity filter so you can narrow its stock to the tier you want.
Forum: you can now edit your own topics (title and body), and moderators can edit any topic.
Mailbox: new mail alerts now use a cleaner, redesigned popup.
Bug Fixes
Resurrection Charm now works: it stops you being thrown in jail without wiping your jailbreak streak, and tells you it saved you instead of showing the jail notice.
Energy: now regenerates to your true maximum including the Stronghold Altar bonus, and the top bar and profile no longer disagree on your max energy.
Arena: stops pitting you against the same rival over and over when few players are online, repeat opponents are capped and you face seeded NPCs for variety.
Layout: high desktop zoom (for example Windows 300%) no longer hides the top bar and menu.
Profile: stat tooltips now open one at a time and close on tap, working properly on mobile.
Stronghold: the level alert badge only appears when your vault is full and you have a free build slot to use, no more pointless nudges.
Visual polish: the Gem Shop is highlighted in the menu, the Cloak of the Unseen banner was refreshed, Stronghold level numbers are centered, and menu alert badges are better aligned.
v1.10.0
New Features
The Reliquary: a new vendor selling crafting materials for gold from limited stock shared by all players that restocks on a timer. A confirmation popup shows the quantity and total cost before you buy.
Vote: earn your 100 BrowserMMORPG shadowgems instantly, paste your public profile link on the Vote page and it is verified automatically, no more messaging an admin.
Inventory: every crafting material now has its own icon, and a help button on the inventory Character Stats explains what each stat does (the stat tooltips also work on tap).
Bug Fixes
Stats: Stamina and Magic were doing nothing; they now work. Stamina raises your maximum energy and Magic raises your maximum mana, and every stat description was corrected to match.
Stronghold: upgrading a building such as the Counting House no longer looks like it lowers output; the next-level figure now shows the real increase.
Black Market: crafting materials were priced far too low; they now cost about half the Reliquary, so a lucky roll is no longer a giveaway.
v1.9.1
New Features
Navigation: menu badges now flag what needs attention, a count on Jail for players locked up, plus alerts on Stronghold, Duels and Lottery. They update the instant you act instead of lagging.
Jail: jailed outlaws now show their sentence on the timer, and the Most Wanted are marked as serving life.
Jail: bust a wanted NPC out and they go into hiding before being re-arrested later. Only you stop seeing them, so others can still attempt their own break-out.
Performance: lighter and smoother, especially on older laptops, with cheaper background effects, Reduce Motion support, and faster page loads.
Bug Fixes
Potions: Overflow Elixirs now fill you to your boosted maximum, not just your normal cap.
Guild Chat: live notifications no longer go quiet after you visit the Guild page.
Casino: leaving a game mid-spin no longer shows stale resource totals afterwards.
Guild: a guild leader's name in the guild browser now links to their profile.
Top Bar: the show/hide eye icon now matches its state.
v1.9.0
New Features
Daily login calendar: your login reward is now a 28-day calendar that pays out every single day you return. Gold climbs a little higher each day, every other day also grants a crafting material that escalates from common to rare to epic, and day 28 is the grand payout with a big pile of gold, an epic material and gems. Complete the calendar and the cycle begins anew. Miss a day and it resets, though a Streak Saver still shields one missed day.
Bug Fixes
Marketplace: a listing now shows the gear's true upgraded stats. Previously an upgraded item was listed with its base stats, so a fully upgraded piece could look weaker than it really was. The item itself was always fine and buyers received the upgraded gear; only the listing display was wrong.
v1.8.4
Bug Fixes
Stronghold tutorial: players who claimed their stronghold before the guide pointed them to it could get stuck on the final "Claim Your Hold" step with no way forward. The guide now recognises a hold you already own and completes itself the next time you open the Stronghold.
v1.8.3
New Features
Vote rewards: four more toplists to earn gold from. Vote for Shadowrealm on TopG, Arena-Top100, Top100Arena, and XtremeTop100 from the Vote page and collect your reward. TopG and XtremeTop100 use the in-game Claim button; Arena-Top100 and Top100Arena reward you automatically once your vote is confirmed.
v1.8.2
New Features
Forum: each category now shows a gold "!" badge when it has a new topic or reply since you last opened it. The badge clears once you have looked, and your own posts never flag it.
Vote: the BrowserMMORPG card now explains how to earn 100 shadowgems (send Mortek the link to your public profile) in a tidy popup, so the card stays as compact as the others.
Installed app: you can now rotate your phone to landscape in the installed app, not just in the browser.
Recruit a Friend: the reward note now names the rank your friend needs to reach instead of a bare number.
Bug Fixes
Arena: opponent names in recent matches no longer get cut short on phones.
Mobile menu: when several notification badges are active at once, the "Menu" label now steps aside so every badge fits, and returns once you have cleared a few.
Menu: fixed the "New" tag sitting too high on some browsers.
Profiles: tidied the Recent Deeds list, removed the small red and green dots and aligned the text.
v1.8.1
The Black Stables: a new high-risk theft den (Adventure menu). Prowl four hunting grounds for carriages, steeds and worse, steal them, and watch the damage roll; the rarer the ground, the richer the haul and the longer the jail sentence if you are caught. Every conveyance has its own art.
Your Stable: sell stolen conveyances for gold, or repair them (an investment for heists to come). Filter by kind and sort by value or damage.
Luck matters everywhere: Fortune Elixirs and luck gear now raise your success odds on regular actions and stable thefts, not just in combat.
Profiles: your guild now shows on your own and public profiles, with the leader marked. Leader and roster names link straight to profiles.
Guild: promoting a member now explains exactly what an officer can and cannot do before you confirm.
Jail: the "you are jailed" notice is now a clean popup with a live release countdown, on every page.
Stronghold: the Counting House now shows its true gold-per-minute on the building card instead of an inflated number.
v1.8.0
Recruit a Friend: invite friends by email from the Settings page. When your recruit verifies their email and reaches rank 2, you BOTH receive 50,000 banked gold. The invite link even fills in their email address at registration.
Jail now bites: gambling, travel, the bank, the marketplace, the Black Market, the forge, gear changes, trades, and the stronghold are all locked while you sit in a cell. Plead with your guildmates for a rescue; chat still works.
Black Market: rotations now last a random 20 to 28 hours, so the refresh moment drifts around the clock. Stay sharp.
Stronghold: cancelling a build now also cancels queued higher levels of the same building (with a clear warning and refunds for each); cancel-refund numbers no longer show endless decimals.
Vote page: the vote button now hides during a claim cooldown and returns the moment the timer expires; added a note that toplist confirmations can take a while but the gold always arrives.
Bank: rewards credited straight to your vault no longer collect retroactive interest from before they existed.
v1.7.7
General: new Release Notes page (this one!) listing every update; new releases are also announced in the Discord announcements channel.
Arena: the page header now shows when the current season ends and how many days remain.
Arena, PVP, and Duels: opponent names in recent matches and duel history now link to their profiles.
Casino: owners now get a clear warning that winning bets are paid from their gold on hand, and that an uncovered payout means losing both the gold and the casino. Shown when buying, when taking over a bankrupted casino, and next to every table limit.
